All Requirements must be met on, or before, the Initiation Ceremony at the end of each semester.
Requirements
Complete 20 Service hours. Up to 6 of these hours can be from non-APO service events.
Complete 6 Fellowship events with the fraternity.
Complete 3 Fundraising events with the fraternity.
Complete 2 Interchapter events with the fraternity.
Interview Actives and fellow Pledge Brothers
Wear your service pin at all times.
Additionally, as a pledge class you will need to plan 1 Service event, 1 Fundraising event, and at least 1 Fellowship event. These events will count towards your overall requirement.
You will be required to attend a weekend retreat that will take place during the semester. Exemptions from this retreat will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, but you really won't want to miss this retreat because it's a lot of fun, and a great way to meet and bond with fellow pledges and actives!
If you are unable to make an event you have signed up for, you must notify the chair of that event at least 24 hours before that event. Failure to do so will result in a deduction of hours from your amount of service hours.
3-4 quizzes covering information concerning the history of the fraternity, given throughout the pledge process.
Final boards, which will cover all the things you've learned throughout the semester.
Expectations
Meet with and interview with Actives (introduce yourself).
Help introduce others on campus to Alpha Phi Omega.
