Active Requirements

• Requirements
  • Complete 20 Service hours. Up to 6 of these hours can be from non-APO service events.
  • Complete 6 Fellowship events with the fraternity
  • Complete 3 Fundraising events with the fraternity.
  • Complete 2 Interchapter events with the fraternity.
  • Attend at least 60% of the meetings.
  • Wear your service pin to all events and meetings.
  • If you are unable to make an event you have signed up for, you must notify the chair of that event 24 hours before that event. Failure to do so will result in a deduction of hours from your amount of service hours.
• Expectations
  • Meet with and interview with pledges (introduce yourself).
  • Help introduce others on campus to Alpha Phi Omega

Associate Requirements

• Requirements
  • Must submit a written request with appropriate reasons to apo@usc.edu.
  • Complete 5 Service hours; from at least 2 events; no outside hours.
  • Complete 3 Fellowship and/or Interchapter events with the fraternity.
  • Complete 1 Fundraising event with the fraternity.

Membership Policies

• May only be Associate for a maximum of 2 semesters.
• Members who do not pay dues or do not complete their requirements will be listed as Inactive.
• If you are Inactive for 2 consecutive semesters, you will be removed from the chapter roster.
• If you do not finish your requirements, you must complete a Probationary Program the following semester of 10 additional service hours.
